FAQ
What is a fingerstyle guitar technique?
Fingerstyle guitar is a technique where the fingers of the right hand are used to pluck the strings of the guitar instead of using a guitar pick. This allows for a greater range of dynamics and expression in the music, as each finger can produce a different tone and volume on the strings.
Is there a specific reason why you often tune the guitar to a lower pitch than the standard tuning?
I find that the guitar produces a richer and darker tone (which I like) when it's tuned lower. I would ideally tune each song differently to achieve the perfect string tension and resonance. There isn't a specific theoretical justification behind it, I just follow my intuition in this.
Are you writing your own music as well?
Yes. And I am working on recording and publishing it.
Buying tabs - how does it work?
When you purchase TABS from this webshop, you'll be able to access it immediately after your payment is processed. You will receive a download link on the confirmation page and also via email, allowing you to download the TABS and start using them right away. All TABS are in PDF format, allowing you to easily view it on your computer, tablet, or mobile device. For most TABS I will also include the locked Guitar Pro file.
In case you face any issues during your purchase or download process, you can reach out to me. I will be happy to assist you.
What do I do with the Guitar Pro file?
I write the tabs in Guitar Pro but it's also valuable for practicing. It lets you change the playback speed which is convenient for learning a new piece. Automatic scrolling of the scores comes in also very handy. If you prefer to read from paper, you can ignore this file.
I would anyway say give Guitar Pro a spin (they have a trial period of 30 days for the computer versions). And no, I am not affiliated to them, I only think they did a great job with this software.
